Job summary

ASCO Equipment is seeking a Haul Truck Driver in Bryan, Texas to safely load and unload heavy machinery at ASCO yard and client sites. You will secure loads, complete check-in/out sheets, and coordinate with internal teams to meet branch hauling needs.

Qualifications include a Class A CDL with a valid medical card, DOT knowledge, and the ability to maintain equipment. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Drivers must have a Class A CDL and a Valid Medical Card.
• Certification on Aerial and Forklift handling/operation.
• Full DOT knowledge to legally manage hours of service and ELOG.
• Ability to maintain and service haul truck and trailer.
• DOT knowledge of legal limits.
• Must possess a clean driving record and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/off-load heavy equipment.
• Properly secure loads with ratchet straps, chains, binders and winch.
• Safely climb on/off equipment and tractor/trailer multiple times a day.
• Effective time management to stay on track for deliveries/pick-up.
• Utilize safe driving techniques at all times.
• Legibly complete equipment inspection reports upon delivery/pickup.
• Maintain daily records of pre-trip/post trip inspection and logs.
• Coordinate with dispatcher and customer to confirm delivery/pickup locations.
