Job summary

ASCO Equipment, Inc. in Amarillo, Texas is seeking a Haul Truck Driver to load and unload heavy machinery and transport equipment to client sites and ASCO yard.

You will secure loads, perform pre-trip inspections, coordinate with dispatch, and maintain accurate logs while delivering exceptional customer service.

A Class A CDL with a valid medical card is required, along with DOT knowledge and ability to operate haul trucks and trailers.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A and a valid medical card are required.
• DOT knowledge for hours of service and ELOG.
• Ability to load/unload and secure loads safely.
• Clean driving record and insurable.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/off-load heavy equipment.
• Properly secure loads with straps, chains, binders, and winch.
• Safely climb on/off equipment and tractor/trailer multiple times a day.
• Effective time management to meet deliveries/ pickups.
• Utilize safe driving techniques at all times.
• Legibly complete equipment inspection reports at delivery/pickup.
• Maintain daily records of pre-trip/post-trip inspections and logs.
• Coordinate with dispatcher and customer to verify delivery/pickup locations.
