ASCO Equipment, Inc. in Elk City, Oklahoma is hiring a Haul Truck Driver to load and unload heavy machinery, secure loads, and transport equipment to yards and customer sites. The role emphasizes safety and professional conduct while representing the company at client locations.

The ideal candidate will hold a Class A CDL with a valid Medical Card, maintain DOT logs, and work with dispatch to coordinate deliveries while upholding safety and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and a Valid Medical Card.
• Full DOT knowledge to legally manage hours of service and ELOG.
• Certification on Aerial and Forklift handling/operation.
• Must possess a clean driving record and be insurable.

Responsabilités

• Safely load/off-load heavy equipment.
• Properly secure loads with ratchet straps, chains, binders and winch.
• Safely climb on/off equipment and tractor/trailer multiple times a day.
• Effective time management to stay on track for deliveries/pickups.

ASCO Equipment has career opportunities for a Haul Truck Driver in the Elk City, Oklahoma branch. The Haul truck Driver will be responsible for safely loading and unloading heavy machinery both at ASCO yard and at customer locations. The Haul Truck Driver will properly secure all loads before transport and ensuring check-in/check-out sheets are properly completed. The Haul Truck Driver’s primary focus is to safely transport heavy equipment and represent ASCO by providing exceptional customer service. They will communicate and coordinate with internal teams to meet the branch hauling needs.

Responsibilities:

• Safely load/off-load heavy equipment.
• Properly secure loads, with ratchet straps, chains, binders and winch.
• Safely climb on/off equipment and tractor/trailer multiple times a day.
• Effective time management skills to stay on track for deliveries/pick-up.
• Utilize safe driving techniques at all times.
• Legibly complete equipment inspection reports upon delivery/pickup of equipment.
• Maintain daily records of pre-trip/post trip inspection of vehicle & accurate log books.
• Coordinate with dispatcher and customer to collect and verify delivery/pickup locations.

Requirements

• Exercise excellent customer service skills.
• Drivers must have a Class A CDL & Valid Medical Card.
• Certification on Aerial and Forklift handling/operation.
• Full DOT knowledge to legally manage hours of service and ELOG.
• Ability to maintain and service haul truck and trailer.
• DOT knowledge of legal limits.
• Must possess a clean driving record and be insurable.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to continually lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs.
• Must pass DOT physical.
• Ability to maneuver around and crawl under equipment in order to properly secure, work in hot or cold work environments.
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.
