Job summary

Blattner Energy, Inc. in El Reno, OK is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to repair and maintain all types of construction equipment and shop tools.

You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and assist with light welding and fabrication while following safety policies and procedures. The ideal candidate has a 2-year post-secondary degree or equivalent, 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a CDL with hazmat tanker endorsement preferred, and a willingness to obtain required certifications.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and fabrication knowledge usually obtained through a 2 yr. post-secondary degree or equivalent combinations
• One to three years of knowledge of maintenance procedures and tooling obtained through previous work experience in mechanic and light welding

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain equipment and work tools across heavy construction and light support roles.
• Diagnose problems and inspect equipment for defects; perform repairs and assist with fabrication as needed.
• Follow safety policies to maintain a safe work environment and support supervisors and teammates.

A DAY IN THE LIFETroubleshoots and repairs all types of equipment from heavy construction to light support equipment and work tools. Operates equipment to diagnose problems and inspects equipment for defects. Responsible for small welding and fabricating tasks required on equipment coming through shop.
