Linder Industrial Machinery Company in Raleigh, NC is seeking a heavy equipment repair technician to service construction machines in the shop and in the field. The role involves diagnosing, ordering parts, writing technical reports, and warranty reporting while maintaining company assets and clear communication with the team.

The position emphasizes safe, accurate repairs, adherence to procedures, and timely documentation. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Repairs equipment and components, including developing a repair plan and sequencing.
• Determines necessary parts, materials, tooling, etc.
• Performs repairs properly and safely with proper QA testing of repair component or system and machine.
• Maintains and completes all necessary reports legibly and in a timely fashion for parts ordering, special tooling usage, daily service reports, and work order closure.
• Communicates progress of repair with direct supervisor as required.
• Retrieves and returns parts and/or materials through the company's parts ordering system.
• Retrieves and returns special tools through the company's Tool Room; maintains proper care and use of major shop equipment.
• Follows all company policies and procedures; observes all safety guidelines.
• Performs other tasks as requested by manager.
