Heavy construction equipment dealer in the Salem, OR area seeking experienced heavy equipment diesel mechanics for shop and field service. We are a small family-owned, non-union company with a big-company compensation and benefits package! We have locations throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Washington. We are growing and very busy so OT is a must.
Responsibilities
- Service customer equipment in shop or at customer’s jobsite
- Capable of completing jobs at or under manufacturer’s published flat rate repair times
- Ability to plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player

Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment
- Equipment dealership background ideal
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted
- Welding experience
- Hydraulic & electrical experience
- Mid-level diagnostic ability
- Ability to do repairs such as welding, R & R of major components such as axles, engines, and transmissions
- Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears
- Engine certifications a plus
- Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal
- Possess a clean and valid Class B driver’s license, recent K4 printout required
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
Licenses and Work Authorization

- Motor Vehicle Inspection License (Preferred)
Other
- DMV record and valid Driver’s license required for all persons driving a Company vehicle, operating equipment, or driving their personal vehicle for Company business
- Proof of auto insurance required for all persons driving a Company or personal vehicle for Company business
- A post-offer, pre-employment physical is required for all new hires before beginning work. This will be paid for by Bejac Corporation.
- A uniform deposit may be required with terms discussed during New Hire Orientation
