Job summary

Blanchard Machinery is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment in varied field and shop environments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on heavy equipment experience, a valid A CDL, and the ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.

The role involves travel, safety-conscious operations, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining equipment and paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment required.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, must also possess a valid "A" CDL license.
• Must have a complete set of tools capable of working in and around heavy equipment.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, operating and maintenance service manuals.
• Organizational and time management skills are required.
• Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and fix electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Prepare parts requisitions, timecards, and service reports.
• Test equipment for proper operation and safety compliance.
• Operate and maintain the service truck and tools.
• Occasional shift work, weekends, or on-call may be required.
