Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic for industrial civil construction projects in Houston, TX. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair gas and diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and perform diagnostics on various makes and models of equipment.

Responsibilities include logging service repairs, following OSHA PPE guidelines, and operating equipment as needed. Valid driver's license and ability to work in adverse weather are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with gas and diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with computer diagnostics and various makes and models of equipment.
• Ability to communicate and diagnose repairs.
• Credited diesel mechanical or trade certifications a plus, but not required.

Job Summary

• Ability to communicate and diagnose repairs.
• Credited diesel mechanical or tradecertifications a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair ofequipment as needed.
• Log service repairs on equipment. Understanding of corrective, PM, and breakdown repairs.
• Understand and follow OSHA guidelines of equipment and PPE.
• Operate equipment when needed.

Qualified Candidate:

• Must have Valid driver's license w/ability to obtain TWIC if necessary
• Must be willing to work in all kinds of weather and working conditions.
• Must be willing to assume the physical risks of working in an outdoor environment which includes but is not limited to dust, construction equipment, heat and/or cold.
• Must have ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds.
