Job summary

Jobtailor in Ohio is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain heavy equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues and plan effective travel schedules.

The role requires strong communication with customers, ability to work independently, and readiness to train junior servicemen on repair jobs. You will inspect, operate, and test machines after service, report findings to the Service Supervisor, and

Qualifications

• Experience working on heavy equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.
• Experience with diesel engines.
• 5+ years of heavy equipment service experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR and physical.
• Experience working with customers.

Responsibilities
