Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to perform PMs and repairs on mobile/heavy equipment across our sites. You’ll service trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, and more, using diagnostic tools, performing engine and hydraulic repairs, and maintaining thorough maintenance records in SAP.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 3–5 years in fast-paced manufacturing maintenance with diesel engines, and strong safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in fast-paced manufacturing with diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Preferred 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile/heavy equipment including gasoline and diesel engines.
• Troubleshoot diesel and gasoline engine systems.
• Repair bearings, brakes, bushings, springs, axles, alternators, wiring harnesses, gaskets and seals, hydraulics, etc.
• Use hand and power tools and precision instruments to diagnose and repair mobile equipment.
• Execute work orders and maintain maintenance records in SAP.
