Qualifications

• Deep working knowledge of Hydraulics and Diesel vehicles.
• Need experience using mig and stick welding processes.
• Must have skills in cutting with torches and plasma cutters.
• Minimum of 2 years of Diesel Mechanic Experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on heavy equipment, trucks, and service vehicles.
• Maintain knowledge and adherence to all safety policies.
• Conduct vehicle/equipment inspections and diagnostic tests; identify and resolve worn, broken, or damaged parts.
• Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system problems and consider possible solutions.
• Maintain vehicles/equipment using preventive maintenance procedures that meets or exceeds industry standards.
• Maintain shop equipment per operating instructions; troubleshooting and repairing or coordinate repairs; maintaining supplies.
• Performs inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Greases, oils, and lubricates components during preventive maintenance service.
• Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company Policy, and performs all work per established safety procedures.
