Job summary

Tri-Star Construction is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment and/or Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic in Tulsa, OK. This hands-on role covers shop and active construction-site repairs to keep road projects moving.

You'll diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain accurate service records. A CDL is a plus, and pre-employment/random drug testing is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a heavy equipment or heavy truck diesel mechanic; experience with both is a plus but not required.
• 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and/or heavy-duty trucks
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, emissions, and other mechanical systems
• Perform shop and field repairs to minimize equipment downtime
• Weld and fabricate components as needed, if qualified
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records
