Job Title: Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

Location: Seneca Landfill, Inc., Evans City, PA

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Assess, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel equipment such as dozers, excavators, rock trucks, and compactors.
2. Service light service equipment and light trucks.
3. Perform typical repairs, including but not limited to: hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and emission systems.
4. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
5. Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
6. Adaptable to changing work environments, competing demands, and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Minimum 3 years experience troubleshooting and repairing problems with heavy diesel equipment.
2. High school diploma or GED.
3. Must possess a valid driver's license.
4. Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, crouch/crawl, and push/pull required.
2. Ability to lift/carry upwards of 50-75 lbs. for short distances.
