Pay: $20-$25/hr DOE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment and Diesel Truck Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of heavy-duty machinery and diesel-powered trucks. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, diesel engines, and mechanical repairs, and be able to perform both preventative maintenance and emergency repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other components on heavy equipment and diesel trucks
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and system checks
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance using service logs or maintenance software
• Utilize diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify issues
• Weld, fabricate, or modify equipment as needed
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and safety
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet repair deadlines
• Comply with company policies and safety regulations at all times
