Job summary

Ohio CAT is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Caterpillar machines in the shop. You will work on dozers, excavators, wheel loaders, and haul trucks, delivering top-tier service to keep customers moving.

Role requires 5+ years of hands-on mechanical repair of diesel/earthmoving equipment, CAT knowledge, and proficiency with CAT diagnostic tools, supported by a tech-school background. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and a 2-year diesel/power equipment tech program.
• At least 3 years of industry experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical repair with diesel/earthmoving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repair on heavy equipment, including CAT engines and drive-train components.
• Perform routine and complex repairs, inspect and maintain equipment, rebuild components.
• Service A/C, keep detailed records, collaborate with colleagues, and follow safety protocols.
