Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment Diagnostic Technician to join our shop in Muskogee, OK. You’ll review live dashboards, diagnose issues across a range of OEMs, and map out corrective actions to keep rental fleets running safely.

You’ll perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, manage work orders with laptops, mentor junior techs, and document every step daily while maintaining OSHA safety standards. This is a full-time role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; trade school certificate preferred.
• Experience in field service, maintenance, or equipment repair preferred.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely execute repairs and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer fleets.
• Use laptops and tablets to create, assign, and track work orders; monitor service intervals; and document every step of the job.
• Diagnose issues quickly using real-time machine data across multiple OEMs; determine cause and corrective action with confidence.
• Order parts accurately and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & components as needed.
• Share your expertise by mentoring junior technicians when required.
• Complete all electronic documentation daily—thorough, accurate, on time.
• Apply knowledge of OSHA requirements (preferred) to maintain a safe and compliant shop.
• Participate in year-round, company-provided OEM training.
