Job Description

ASRC NetCentric Technology, LLC seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator supporting our CLOIS contract at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Responsibilities include operating mobile and stationary cranes, heavy equipment, and supporting critical space launch and mission operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate various cranes including Mobile, Gantry, and Portal Cranes.
2. Operate other heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and multi-axle vehicles.
3. Develop and understand critical lift plans for heavy loads.
4. Load and unload ordnance assemblies from ships.
5. Collaborate with other operators for oversized loads.
6. Perform proof loading and safety tests on cranes and rigging equipment.
7. Adhere to Navy Crane Center NAVFAC P307 and other safety and regulatory standards.
8. Conduct incidental mechanical repairs on heavy equipment.
9. Participate in station disaster preparedness and recovery efforts.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with specialized training in mobile crane and heavy equipment operations.
• Current Class A CDL license.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience within the past six years.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a “Secret” security clearance.
• Ability to pass drug screening and obtain necessary certifications, including crane certifications and security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Physical ability to climb, work at heights up to 100 ft., and lift up to 50 pounds.
