Job summary

You will review damage photos and documentation, prepare detailed repair estimates using approved appraisal software, assess repair versus salvage decisions, and collaborate with repair facilities to finalize claim resolutions, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licenses as required.
• Three (3) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include at least one (1) year of heavy equipment experience.
• Thorough knowledge of operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to understand and utilize appraisal software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review photos, documentation, and other claim materials to assess damage.
• Prepare detailed repair estimates using approved industry-standard software.
• Evaluate repair vs. replace decisions and determine appropriate parts usage.
• Assess whether vehicles are repairable or should be deemed salvage.
• Collaborate with repair facilities to process supplements and update estimates.
• Negotiate scope of repairs and pricing with repair facilities.
