Job summary

HP Fairfield, part of the Alamo Group family, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Installer in Hopkinton, NH. The role involves mounting tilt fronts, dump bodies, hydraulic hoses and tanks to specifications, with close supervision.

First shift is 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, and candidates should have basic welding and fabrication skills. Ideal applicants will read blueprints, operate drills and band saws, and be capable of following safety instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, blueprints and manuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Commitment to teamwork and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align and fit components using blueprints.
• Bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts to secure position.
• Set up equipment and weld parts for mounting tilt fronts and dump bodies.
• Perform welding, electrical or hydraulic installation as required.
• Assist with installation in truck cabs and general tasks as directed.
• Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures.
