Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Assembler to build heavy-duty earthmoving equipment. You will assemble scrapers, hydraulic systems and other mechanical parts, following engineering drawings and specs while upholding safety and quality.

The role requires reading drawings, using hand and power tools, inspecting components, and performing routine tool maintenance. You will punch in/out work orders in Genius software and adhere to ADP procedures in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• Read and understand assembly drawings
• Maintain high quality throughout assemblies
• Follow company safety standards and policies
• Complete WHMIS/SWP training and emergency/first aid procedures
• Pass verbal and mechanical crane test for 5/10 ton overhead crane
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Strong communication and ability to work independently
• Good time management skills

Responsibilities

• Assemble scrapers, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical parts according to engineering drawings and specs
• Wear PPE and follow safety protocols
• Inspect assembled components for quality and address defects
• Use hand and power tools; perform routine tool maintenance
• Assist in final inspection before delivery to QC bay
• Punch in/out work orders using Genius software
• Manage time efficiently to meet output targets
• Clock in daily in ADP; handle vacation and PTO requests
• Be punctual and attentive
