Starting pay is $18.00 an hour depending on experience.

Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  1. Complete assembly of partially built heavy equipment using hand, electric, and air-powered tools.
  2. Unpackage, install, and remove machine parts.
  3. Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate proper assembly.
  4. Work outside in all reasonable weather conditions.
  5. Read and interpret machine manuals and schematics for assembly purposes.
  6. Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety regulations.
Job Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  1. Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes.
  2. Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and schematics.
  3. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems for construction and agricultural equipment.
  4. Sufficient hand dexterity and strength to operate a sledgehammer, power tools, and withstand vibration of tools.
  5. Ability to lift overhead 50 lbs and climb to/work at heights of up to 15 feet.
  6. Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions.
  7. Steel-toed boots/shoes.
  8. Current valid driver’s license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional shop/yard environment. Frequent exposure to the elements (such as dust, dirt, rain) and chemicals (such as fumes and fluids) occurs during operation of construction and agricultural equipment, cranes, forklifts, welding, painting, etc.
