We’re seeking a Drilling Equipment Operator to join our team and help connect America. The role involves operating various equipment used in underground construction or utilities installation, repair, and maintenance, in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities of an Operator Telecom Construction Equipment

• Safely operate drill equipment on the jobsite, including directional drills, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, tractor trailers, vacuum trucks, etc.
• Restore and landscape disturbed areas
• Develop and maintain bore schedules
• Set up and clean up the jobsite
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
• Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and set up safety perimeters
• Work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Valid Driver's License or Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment and drilling setup preferred
• Ability to work in all weather, lift up to 75 lbs, and work overtime or on-call
• Knowledge of utility locating and reading work orders
• Physical ability to perform duties including climbing and working at heights
• Understanding of safety procedures and ability to work in potentially hazardous environments

Physical & Safety Requirements

Must be able to stand, crouch, sit, bend, and handle tools, with exposure to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges from $20.00 to $26.00, depending on experience.
