Guardian Fleet Services – Roberts Towing in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Heavy-Duty Wrecker Driver to join our team. The role requires operating heavy‑duty tow trucks to recover and transport commercial vehicles while maintaining safety and professionalism on every call.

Ideal candidates hold a Valid CDL Class A, have experience with wreckers/rotators, and can pass drug screens and background checks. You will work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, upholding DOT standards and delivering

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Clean driving record per DOT and insurance standards.
• Experience operating heavy‑duty wreckers or rotators preferred.
• Knowledge of rigging and load securement.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy‑duty wreckers, rotators, and recovery equipment.
• Perform complex recoveries including rollovers, winch‑outs, load shifts, and accident scene operations.
• Inspect, maintain, and secure all rigging, chains, straps, winches, and towing equipment.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the wrecker and report mechanical issues.
• Communicate with dispatch, law enforcement, customers, and other responders on‑scene.
• Secure loads safely and in compliance with DOT and company standards.
• Complete required paperwork, digital logs, and service reports.
• Respond to calls during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and uphold company safety standards.
