Job summary

Glick Fire Equipment Company is seeking a Service Technician in Harleysville, PA to join our team. This full-time role supports maintenance, repair, and inspection of fire and EMS vehicles, working Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm.

You will perform quality control, diagnostics, and repairs, ensure safety protocols, and maintain state inspection paperwork. A high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years automotive or heavy-duty truck experience, and a PA CDL Class B are preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years automotive or heavy-duty truck experience; HD truck preferred.
• PA CDL Class B with air brake & tanker endorsement encouraged.
• Safety sensitive position subject to DOT testing.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with frequent 50 lb lifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of quality control to all vehicles in our care.
• Maintain timely customer and management contact regarding maintenance and repair results.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and wear safety equipment.
• Maintain PA State Inspection paperwork according to state laws.
• Repair/maintain chassis, hydraulics, diesel engines, suspension, HVAC systems.
• Complete work orders efficiently using Glick Fire’s database.
• Greet customers promptly, in person or by phone.
