Job summary

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Mack Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment, and serves as a servicing dealer for multiple product lines in On Highway, Construction, and Agriculture industries.

We are hiring Truck Technicians to perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks. Ideal candidates hold a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, have strong diagnostic skills, and excel in customer service.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree and/or equivalent experience as a truck technician or diesel mechanic.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brake systems, transmissions, HVAC, hydraulics, and emissions.
• Experience with Mack/Volvo trucks is a plus.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, air brake systems, steering and suspension, HVAC, emissions systems.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and more complex repairs to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot issues reported by drivers or customers and provide repair solutions.
• Utilize diagnostic software and OEM service information.
• Field service calls and communicate progress to customers and supervisors.
• Complete service reports and maintain repair records.
