Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions seeks a Mechanical Service Writer to estimate heavy-duty truck and trailer jobs, including parts and labor, and to bill service tickets. You will communicate with vendors, technicians and customers to confirm costs and lead times in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role reports to the Mechanical Service Manager. Ideal candidates have an associate degree in business or related field and 2+ years in the industry, strong organizational and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business or related field required; four-year degree preferred.
• At least 2 years' experience within the industry or a related management position.
• Strong organizational, time-management and customer-service orientation.
• Proficiency with Paylocity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ordering parts.
• Processing and making returns.
• Direct communication with technicians, customers, and vendors.
• Adherence to all safety programs.
• Assist in service billing.
