Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Service Writer to estimate heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs, including parts and labor, and to bill service tickets. You’ll spend significant time on the phone and computer coordinating with vendors regarding pricing and availability, and you’ll be in constant touch with mechanics and customers about costs, lead times, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent work experience required; Associate's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years' experience in the industry or a related management position.

Responsibilities

• Ordering parts and processing returns.
• Direct communication with technicians, customers, and vendors.
• Adherence to all safety programs.
• Assist in service billing.
