Border Tire in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Tire Technician to inspect, repair, and mount truck and trailer tires. You will dismount/remount tires, balance wheels, and prepare rims, while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer tires for wear, bulges, cuts, and damage.
• Repair tires with minor malfunctions.
• Dismount/remount tires and wheels securely on vehicles.
• Balance wheels and check for correct fit.
• Prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly.
• Dispose of damaged tires per state regulations.
• Operate tools safely in a hazardous environment around vehicles.
• Maintain inventories and tire equipment.
• Assist mechanics as directed.
• Keep the shop area neat and clean.
