Job summary

UPS is seeking a Mechanic 1st Class to maintain and repair a wide range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty machinery, on-road tractors, and trailers. The role focuses on diagnosing and fixing issues with hydraulic brakes, transmissions, air brakes, electronic systems, and engines.

Responsibilities include repairing diesel, CNG's and gas vehicles; operating standard and manual transmissions; using power and pneumatic tools; and ensuring vehicles are kept in top condition with

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including varying weekly schedules.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and occasionally outdoors.
• Must possess the required hand tools to perform the job assignment.
• Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Preferred
• Meets D.O.T requirements
• ASE certifications- Preferred
• Bends, stoops, squats, knees, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands and walks frequently.
