SA Recycling is seeking a Heavy Driver to operate onsite at the Gainesville, GA yard. The role involves loading and unloading scrap metal, inspecting items for correct grading, and performing daily DOT safety checks.

Candidates should be able to communicate effectively, handle basic math, and ideally have bilingual English/Spanish skills. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with a focus on safety and reliability.

• Ability to communicate with others effectively; understand direction and use basic math skills as the job demands.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal.
• Inspect and determine metal grade for inventory tracking.
• Perform DOT daily operation and safety inspection.
• Communicate with office and customers to determine commodities to load.
• Work independently when driving scrap metal.
• Maintain a clean and safe scrap metal yard environment.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks and housekeeping.
• Organize materials to optimize space and disposal of waste properly.
