Job summary

Grace Pacific Corporation is seeking a skilled technician for heavy equipment repair in Kapolei, Hawaii. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in both mobile and stationary equipment repairs and must possess a valid driver's license. A strong emphasis on safety and compliance with OSHA regulations is essential.

The ideal candidate will perform various repairs and maintenance on heavy machinery, ensuring operational readiness. CDL A is preferred, and ASE training is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years proven experience in heavy equipment repair of both mobile and stationary equipment.
• Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.
• Ability to complete physical exam to meet DOT driver requirements.
• CDL A preferred, Minimum type required.
• ASE Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, air and hydraulic problems in mobile and stationary equipment and/or plants in order to identify and perform necessary repairs.
• Performs general overhaul and engine repair work on equipment with diesel, gasoline, and air‑cooled engines.
• Perform adjustments and repairs to brakes, transmissions, ignition and lighting systems, cooling and heating systems, air and hydraulic systems.
• Perform structural repair and fabrication employing a variety of welding techniques with a variety of metal specifications.
• Diagnoses and performs emergency mechanical repairs on stationery and mobile equipment.
• Communicates with Foreman and co‑workers on diagnosis and repairs.
• Complies with all OSHA and MSHA regulations, Company hazard and safety regulations, and pertinent DOT regulations.
• Prepares written reports and records.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.
