Job summary

FleetPride, the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S., is seeking a part sales professional in Portland. You will assist customers by phone or in person, determine part needs, and locate items from central warehouses or branches to fulfill orders, aiming to deliver profitability and excellent service.

Requirements include a high school diploma, strong communication and listening skills, and at least 2 years in sales of heavy-duty parts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help determine and obtain heavy duty parts for customers by phone or in person.
• Suggest sale of related parts for full service and locate parts from central warehouse or branch.
• Determine sales price for customers per company procedures and handle warranty/defective parts accordingly.
• Write up approved charges and process credits for returned merchandise as required.
• Ensure counter area is clean and display areas encourage sales.
