Job summary

MasterTech in Richmond, VA seeks experienced heavy equipment mechanics to service construction, mining and recycling equipment both in shop and on client sites. A strong team of technicians supports onsite work in the Richmond region.

Compensation is $28.00–$32.00 per hour with full benefits after 30 days, including health, dental, vision and disability coverage, plus 15 days PTO and an IRA plan. Schedule is Monday–Friday with OT; start times are 7:00am; valid driver’s license and own tools

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy equipment maintenance.
• Experience with crushers, conveyors, trommels or shredders is a strong asset.
• Comfortable with hydraulics, welding, electrical systems and diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heavy equipment in mining, construction, and recycling applications.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on large machinery.
• Work with a team on client sites and in shop environments.

Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics are needed in the Richmond, VA region. Working with a large service, rental and parts distributor supporting the Construction, Mining and Recycling industries. An opportunity to work with a team of experienced technicians locally, and on client sites.

Compensation:

• $28.00 - $32.00/hour

Requirements:

• 3+ Years Heavy Equipment Maintenance, large machinery (stationary or mobile)
  
• Background with Screening, Crushing, Conveyors, Trommels, Shredders a strong asset
  
• Comfortable with Hydraulics, Welding, Electrical, Preventative Maintenance, Diesel Engines
  
• Valid Drivers License, Own Tools (Specialty Provided), ability to work independently
  
• Successful candidates will be subject to background checks, drug screening
