Job summary

Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics are needed in the Richmond, VA region. Working with a large service, rental and parts distributor supporting the Construction, Mining and Recycling industries. An opportunity to work with a team of experienced technicians locally, and on client sites.

Compensation includes $28.00 - $32.00/hour, full benefits after 30 days, health/dental/vision and disability insurance, 15 days PTO in year one and IRA plan. Shift is Monday to Friday with OT and 7:00am starts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience with crushers, conveyors, trommels or shredders is a strong asset.
• Comfortable with hydraulics, welding, electrical systems and diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of heavy machinery on site and at client locations.
• Diagnose, service and repair hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems.
• Operate with safety, complete background checks and drug screening as required.

Requirements

• 3+ Years Heavy Equipment Maintenance, large machinery (stationary or mobile)
• Background with Screening, Crushing, Conveyors, Trommels, Shredders a strong asset
• Comfortable with Hydraulics, Welding, Electrical, Preventative Maintenance, Diesel Engines
• Valid Drivers License, Own Tools (Specialty Provided), ability to work independently
• Successful candidates will be subject to background checks, drug screening
