Job summary

Oxford Casino in Oxford, Maine, is seeking an F&B Heavy Duty Steward to maintain the cleanliness of kitchen areas, dishware, tableware and service ware under the guidance of Kitchen Supervisors. This is a non-exempt, hourly position in the Food and Beverage department.

The role supports all kitchen operations by removing waste, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring equipment is ready for service. Pay range is $17.50–$18.50 per hour, with opportunities to grow within a expanding hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Maintains overall cleanliness of kitchen areas, dishware, tableware, and service ware.
• Follows health and safety standards as required by regulations.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Cleans broilers, fryers, grills, ovens, range hoods, and floors to established standards.
• Goes through dishwashing cycle and maintains cleanliness of dishwashing equipment.
• Sets up and breaks down dishwashers and manages trash disposal.
• Maintains clean cooks’ lines and assists kitchen staff as needed.
• Supports hood cleaning and storage area organization.
