Gold Ranch Casino in Dayton, Nevada is looking for a Heavy-Duty Kitchen Cleaner!

Description

Summary:

Performs heavy duty cleaning of floors and deep cleans equipment, including underneath equipment, in kitchen following departmental and company policies and procedures. Familiar with proper cleaning procedures, and comfortable with usage of various chemicals used in cleaning and sanitation.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

• Follows daily assignment sheet
• Washes, operates and maintains heavy duty equipment as required
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums all floors, entry ways, empties trash cans throughout casino property
• Deep clean, degrease, and sanitize all cooking and prepping equipment and areas.
• Remove and wash the mats from the Cook’s line and Bar area.
• Sweep and mop back of the house (Prep Area, Dish Pit, Cook’s line, and Server’s Line
• Clean walls, ceilings, lights, glass doors and casino mirrors
• Stock/ replace needed items in both restrooms
• Cleaning drains on property
• Deep cleaning of Bar floors, doors, doors, windows, etc.
• Sanitizing any dishes as needed
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned by their supervisor, department manager and/or managers on duty.
• Other duties as assigned.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Good customer service skills and employee relations skills
• Must possess basic commercial kitchen sanitization knowledge
• Must possess basic cleaning chemical safety and utilization knowledge

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75lbs. occasionally
• Ability to handle heavy-duty equipment
• Prolonged walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching and kneeling without restriction
• Ability to withstand working with chemicals and noise of equipment
