Job summary

Brown Industrial Construction is seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator for projects in the Greater Baton Rouge to New Orleans areas. The role requires operating excavators and bulldozers, using GPS machine control, and performing grade work in civil site projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience operating bulldozers and excavators.
• Ability to rough and finish grade with bulldozers and excavators.
• Experience with underground trenching for water and sewer installations.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, dozers, and grading equipment to cut/fill grade per specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Shoot grade with rotating lasers and site levels.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness on site.
• Perform inspections and minor maintenance on equipment.
