I-State Truck Center is seeking a Heavy-Duty Diesel Truck Mechanic in Blaine, MN. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing heavy‑duty trucks, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and compliance. Strong diagnostic skills and a background with major OEM tools are essential.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy‑duty diesel trucks.
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
CDL with appropriate endorsements strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair heavy‑duty diesel trucks using diagnostic tools and schematics.
Perform preventive maintenance: oil changes, filter replacements, tire inspections, brake adjustments, and chassis lubrication.
Replace or repair diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, or brake systems.
Welding and fabrication to repair or modify frames or components.
Document service reports, parts used, and maintenance activities for warranty and compliance.
Communicate repairs and recommendations to fleet managers and drivers.
