Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in the Lansing, MI area is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Mechanic. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair semi trucks, with a focus on safety, quality, and clear communication with customers and co-workers. Service Truck experience is a plus.

This day shift position offers $28-$35 per hour, overtime after 40 hours, bi-weekly pay, 401(k) after 1 year, holidays, clothing/boot allowance, and opportunities for growth as the company expands.

Qualifications

• Must have heavy duty truck repair experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose truck systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and parts.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customer.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trucks and operating Service Truck.
