Job summary

Penn Power Group is seeking a Heavy-Duty Truck Technician. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy‑duty trucks and equipment, perform routine and emergency maintenance, and troubleshoot diesel engines, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

CDL Class A and PA State Inspection License are required; you must read technical manuals, work independently, and maintain a positive driving record. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement and a tool

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to read technical manuals and perform complex repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Technical training or degree in diesel engines.
• Own tools and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and replace parts and systems, including engines, brakes, hydraulics, electrical.
• Use shop tools and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and warranty procedures.
