Job summary

W.W. Williams in Cranston, RI is seeking a Heavy-Duty-Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel equipment and trucks. You will work with a team to ensure maintenance is completed safely and to customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience with heavy equipment and diesel engines, along with expertise in electrical and emissions systems. All work is performed on-site, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience servicing tractor and heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of EGR and emissions control systems.
• Experience with Freightliners/Detroit engines and associated components.
• Proficient with DC electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, batteries checks, and lubrication.
• Repair diesel trucks including engines, transmissions, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Inspect critical components to ensure safe and reliable operation.
