Job summary
Waste Pro is seeking a Diesel Mechanic A / Heavy-Duty Fleet Technician in West Palm Beach, FL. The role involves diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks, CNG vehicles, hydraulics, electrical, emissions, and heavy-duty equipment. Competitive hourly pay and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates are offered.
Relocation assistance is available. ASE incentives, tool and boot allowances, and ongoing OEM training are included.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform drivetrain inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Ability to perform general engine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Ability to perform transmission inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Ability to provide guidance to shop technicians.
- CDL Class B license preferred, or the ability to obtain a CDL Class B license.
- Ability to obtain seven ASE Certifications within 36 months of employment.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with heavy-duty Class 8 vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, CNG vehicles, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and repairs on heavy-duty equipment.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety requirements for fleet maintenance.
- Assist, guide, and direct shop technicians as needed.
