The Larson Group Peterbilt in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Diesel Service Technician to join our team. This role performs all functions of a fully qualified heavy‑duty truck repair mechanic under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs, safety compliance, and documentation of work performed. A Class A CDL is required or obtainable during employment; position is safety‑critical and offers growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Trade school certificate/degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in a related field preferred but not required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Class A CDL.
• MVR adheres to company guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic/mechanical repairs on heavy‑duty truck equipment and related components; tests after repair to ensure quality.
• Follow safety rules and company policies at all times.
• Communicate with Service Foreman about parts availability.
• Document repair steps, results, and details for each job.
• Maintain tools and work area; keep it clean and safe.
• Assist with special instructions to the next shift’s technicians as needed.
• Maintain productivity goals set by Service Manager.
• Complete Peterbilt online training to 95% completion.
• Obtain and retain a Class A CDL during employment.
