Job summary

Mechanics Hub in Frederick, MD is hiring a Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks. You will utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and read technical manuals to troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.

The role offers paid OEM and ASE training, productivity bonuses, uniforms and PPE, boot reimbursement, and a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with hours negotiable. Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Diesel engine systems knowledge and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot diesel engine malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to support safety and environmental compliance.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and routine service.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to prioritize repairs and maintain efficient shop workflows.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
