Job summary

TCI Transportation is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and trailers in a fast-paced shop environment in Texas. You will work under supervision to diagnose and fix major components, conduct preventive maintenance, and ensure timelines are met.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of diesel engine repair experience, possesses a valid driver's license, and is self-motivated with leadership capabilities, ready for on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6+ years Diesel Engine Repair experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Self-motivated with leadership skills.
• Must be available for On Call Rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair major truck and trailer components with minimal supervision.
• Repair and replace clutch, PTO, electric, hydraulic and air brake systems; inspect major subsystems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics to meet time standards.

We are looking for Diesel Mechanics with 4+ years' Experience - $37.01 - $41.00 an hour depending on skills and experience

Shift

Monday-Friday 9AM to 6 PM

Position Overview

Technician Level IIII will generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment at the direction of Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision: Clutches, PTO Systems, Electric Systems, Hydraulic/ Air Brake Systems, Heating/ Air Conditioning Systems, Instruments and Gauges, and Preventive Maintenance Service. Technicians are measured on their efficiency to complete quality repairs in time standards.

Minimum Requirements
