Job summary

TCI Transportation in Fontana, CA is looking for a Level 1 Diesel Mechanic to join our team. You’ll work under experienced mechanics, perform routine diesel maintenance, and participate in BIT inspections while developing your skills in a hands-on shop environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of diesel engine repair experience.
• A Valid Driver’s License Is Required.
• Self-motivation and leadership skills.

• You don’t have to know everything—but you should be ready to ask questions, take direction, and put what you learn into practice.

Responsibilities

• Working under the supervision of experienced mechanics, you’ll gain experience maintaining and repairing a variety of diesel-powered vehicles.
• Assist with routine diesel engine maintenance while developing your skills.
• Participate in BIT inspections under experienced supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Follow company safety and operating procedures with every task.

Location: Fontana, California

Shift Days: Monday through Friday

Shift Hours: Swing Shift 1pm-10pm and Day shift 7am-4pm

Pay: $25.00–$29.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience
