TCI Transportation in New Orleans, LA is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic (Technician Levels 3 & 4) to diagnose, repair, and maintain truck and trailer equipment. The role includes a weekday day-shift schedule with weekly pay, uniforms, and a boot allowance. Candidates should have 4–6+ years of diesel engine repair experience and a valid driver's license.

The position requires on-call rotation availability and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship to keep equipment on the road.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose & Repair Truck and Trailer Equipment under direction of Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Handle Component Replacement by removing and replacing major components with careful workmanship.
• Put Your Technical Expertise to Work: diagnose and repair clutches, PTO systems, electrical systems, hydraulic and air brake systems, heating and A/C, instruments and gauges with little supervision.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance to keep equipment dependable and ready for operation.

Diesel Mechanic — Technician Levels 3 & 4

Pay: $29.55–$36.02 per Hour + Overtime After 40 Hours per Week
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

Hourly rate depends on skills and experience. Availability for an on-call rotation and road service is required.

TCI Maintenance is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics with 4–6+ years of diesel engine repair experience to join our Baton Rouge team. Bring your technical knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to quality to a hands‑on role maintaining and repairing truck and trailer equipment.

With a weekday day‑shift schedule, weekly pay, provided uniforms, and a yearly boot allowance, this opportunity combines meaningful work with practical benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnose & Repair Truck and Trailer Equipment
Assist with diagnosing and repairing major components under the direction of a Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor.

Handle Component Replacement
Remove and replace major components while bringing careful workmanship and attention to detail to each repair.

Put Your Technical Expertise to Work
Diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision: clutches, power take-off (PTO) systems, electrical systems, hydraulic and air brake systems, heating and air conditioning, instruments, and gauges.

Perform Preventive Maintenance
Complete preventive maintenance services that help keep equipment dependable and ready for operation.
