Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains systems and parts for class 6, 7, and 8 powered tractors.
• Diagnoses failures and repairs mechanical, electrical, and system components.
• Uses hydraulic jacks to access underneath vehicles.
• Assists in the replacement of engines, transmissions, differentials, and springs.
• Troubleshoots heavy-duty truck engines, braking, electrical, and exhaust systems.
• Documents inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborates with partners for training and assistance on complex repairs.
• Tests vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation.
