Alaska Marine Trucking, part of the Lynden family, is hiring a Heavy Diesel Technician/Mechanic for the night shift in Juneau, Alaska. The role offers overtime, family-friendly benefits, and a $3/hour shift differential for the night hours (3:00pm–3:00am, Mon–Thu).

• Must be able to obtain TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card).
• Perform inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Lift up to 50 lb and occasionally up to 100 lb.
• Willingness to travel short distances.
• Experience with maintenance on heavy‑duty equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide maintenance on heavy-duty equipment, ie: tractors, trailers, forklifts, etc.
• Assist with major component swaps like hydraulic pumps, engines and transmissions.
• Must be able to apply and be issued a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card).
• Perform inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
