Knight Const. & Supply, Inc. seeks a Fleet Mechanic in Washington with 5+ years of diesel or heavy equipment experience.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, perform routine maintenance, and maintain logs. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and Tenna software is valued, along with CDL-A as a plus. This on-site role at our Deer Park facility emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel technology or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic.
• CDL Class A license preferred.
• Experience with cranes and boom/scissor lifts preferred.
• Familiarity with FMCSA DOT regulations and inspections.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on diesel/gas engines and heavy equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot engine and system malfunctions; operate and maintain a complete set of hand, power, and shop tools.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and lubrication on cars, trucks and other equipment.
• Maintain work, material and equipment maintenance logs and records.
• Utilize Tenna to schedule preventive maintenance and update maintenance requests.
• Read schematics and shop manuals; stay current with technology and safety protocols.
